Based on the flag that appeared when young French influenced by the French philosophy on freedom and started a revolutionary riot. Then, the flag was a horizontally divided into red, yellow, blue, but was then changed into vertical bands. Since then, somtimes the heraldic emblems would be added, but after the 1989 abolishment of the Communist dictatorship, the current flag is used. It is said that the three colors comes from ancient Roman days.
