Flag of Liechtenstein

Flag of Liechtenstein image

Location of LiechtensteinThe base model is said to have been from early 1700s when the Principality came into being, but there are no stories behind the blue and red colors. The flag was originally a simple blue and red flag, but during the 1936 Berlin Olympics, it was discovered to be exactly the same as the Haiti citizens' flag, and to prevent confusion, the crown was illustrated in the upper left. Blue represents the bright blue sky, red, the hearthside that gather at sunset, and gold of the crown, that the people, nation, and ducal house are connected by heart and spirituality.
