Flag of Paraguay
The red, white, and blue colors are based on the French Tricolor flag. The flag was established a the national congress in 1842. The heraldic emblem is depicted in the center, while another national emblem is on the back. This is the only flag with a design that is different in the front and back. The emblem in the front celebrates independence, while the emblem in the back represents "peace and justice".
