The red, green, white, and black colors are basic Arabian colors. In the Muslim world, red represents the blood connection to the prophet Muhammad or blood shed for Islam, green, for the ripening of grain, white, for cleansing, purity, and peace, black, for the world of surpression. In addition, in the U.A.E., green normally symbolizes the fertility of soil, white, neutrality, and black, petroleum resources which supports the nation's economy.
