The flag of All-India Muslim League, which was founded in 1906, became the original model of the flag. A combination of Islamic symbols, green base with white new moon and stars. White symbolizes peace, while green expresses the nation's prosperity, and the crescent monn, advancement and development, the start, light and knowledge. The white on the left represented East Pakistan which grew independent as Bangladesh and such, included non-Islamic religions and minorities, but even after the independence of East Pakistan, the flag has not been changed.
